Dr. Jeff Johnson, Pastor
I am Oakley now…
But I am originally from Asheboro, NC. After being raised by strong Christian parents Mack and Alice Johnson, I felt the call to the ministry in the 7th Grade. After graduating from Asheboro High School in 1994 and Campbell University in 1998, I was set to attend Southern Seminary in the fall of 1998, however God had other plans.
During this time, I would undergo the toughest battle of my faith and ultimately my life when I underwent brain surgery in 1998 to rid me of an ateriovenous malformation.
Through God’s sovereign grace, mercy, and healing, I was able to graduate from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004 with my Masters of Divinity and again in 2013 with my Doctorate in Ministry. All for his Glory and allowing me to fulfill the Great Commission.
My wife Lana and daughter Emory are my greatest blessings.
